too many anti spyware apps may slow down your pc. just use malware bytes alongwith MSE. for browser security, use spyware blaster from javacoolsoftware.com

That is my issue with this. Plus I know in the past that some anti-viral apps can conflict with eachother. Even detecting eachothers database as a an infection.

As an aside, always delete system restores points if something is detected, followed by a reboot and multiple scans in safe mode. Then, turn it back on. As to protection, use PSI to identify your outdated software.
