Even though I have set Avast to auto-update everything,
it never doe's a program update.

Thanks for the update Mickey.

Not happy with using Update Program from in Avast, it installs Chrome and the Chrome toolbar without asking

Will uninstall the old version and manually install the new one from now on, where you can de-select it.

I just installed 1473 from the UI Update program on a system without Chrome, and it did not install Chrome or the toolbar.
The only problem i see is WebRep isn't working with FF 16.0.1, but that's noted on the Avast forum right now.

I don't use Webrep, I prefer WOT.

After a restart it asked me if I wanted to install Chrome and a 2nd choice to make it default. Unchecked, and it closed. A Guy
