    Applocker configuration advices

ok, now I am going for new setup again.

And it will include Applocker on itself.
I got the general idea about it and things like that.

I am just asking you guys who have used or still uses it, to give me some advice on it's configurations.
I mean general rules, or how would you have setup it.
Or some useful materials to learn more and so on.

And I will probably go with white-listing as main configuration and full power (allow all) to the administrator

    Thank you.

    Hello Jav,

I used BitLocker before on a internal drive using a USB key to store the encryption key since I did not have a TPM on the motherboard. The tutorial below, and the related links in it, can help give you more information about this.

BitLocker Drive Encryption - Windows 7 Drive - Turn On or Off with no TPM

    Hope this helps,

Brink Thank you very much, your tutorials are always very helpful.

But it seems you misunderstood me this time.
I was asking about Applocker (something like software restriction Policy) not Bitlocker (drive encryption)

I understand why you was confused, as it is a bit complicated and more used in enterprise level then in home use.

And even most of the sevenforums members who mainly posts in security section of the forum and security enthusiasts don't use it.
But, I want to use it, as I see it's advantage over lots of security software (and it's Windows build-in feature)

    EDIT:
<--- Is this image (Thread Starter) new addition? :)

    LOL

Sorry about that. I haven't used it myself, but these may be able to help with it instead.

Yes, "Thread Starter" is a new addition that John (z3r010) added to help make the OP of a thread stand out better.
