you can uncheck smart defrag
if you don't share media, uncheck media player entries as well.

yes you are right. basically its ur point of view. if u use any software that needs a internet connection to work, then u can add them. some software uses internet juz to check for updates, I normally close these and open them to do a manual check every week/fortnight/month.
