Well, for machines build for today's computing, yes they can handle it very eas'ly. Any system with 2GB of memory will take it on. I would'n recommend this for system anything below that. Better stick to what best of Freewares has to offer (Avast HE + Spybot S&D + PC Tools FW Plus + Threatfire).
