    Microsoft Security Essentials.

I notice a high lighted line [Computer Status Potentially Unprotected], what does this really mean? is my computer not protected with installed MSE.
MSE is set in real time and runs daily for checking hard drives.

Maybe a screenshot of the problem will help us determine what is wrong

It will say potentially unprotected if you haven't run a full manual scan after about a week.

It will also show if it misses an update which for me happens when the desktop is loading. This usually happens within the first week or two of installation. After that it goes away.

just do a scan and you will see that go away, and it will turn green again.

I have not done a scan of any kind in over a month and always show as up to date and green.
