    Hacking Windows

sorry if the topic already exists somewhere.
I would like to know whether you can protect Windows files from hacking (though I have nothing useful to the computer). otherwise use the wireless network.
The whole question is encased when I check my link to the website:

Not sure in which way you mean hacking? Like from a virus or somebody physicaly at your system trying to get on. In any case all the usual ways passwords, firewalls ect. Fabe

A good firewall is always a good start. Do you have the windows firewall turned on ? If not do so. Also make sure the UAC is turned on too and you have a good program for spyware installed like Malwarebytes.org
