Aw, crap. I think I allowed a virus.

So here I was trying to get a webcomic's rss feed to work in Live Mail when I receive an level orange UAC prompt for Adobe Updater or something.
Because this was a surprised I just hit allow without thinking.
Nothing noticeable happened, and I don't know if the version of any adobe software changed.

I may have launched Acrobat to view a pdf ten minutes ago, but the application should not be running anymore.

What security Software/Suite are you using?

Assuming it was a virus, or any malware for that matter, you're Security Software SHOULD HAVE "ding'd" or something. If you're paranoid, run a scan with Microsoft Security Essentials or MalwareBytes Anti-Virus (Free Ed.). I can guarantee both of those will find something (if something is there to find).
