Windows 7: Kasperksy problem?

Kasperksy problem?

I have just installed build 7068 64bit, and everything went great! The only problem thus far is that the action centre reports some problems with Kasperksy. (Attached) Kaspersky however states that it is working properly, and it seems that it does. Can someone please help me to resolve this issue?

I haven't installed on this latest build but when I tried it on build 7000 (it's reported to be 100% compatible as they are 1 of the MS AV partners along with Norton & others) it screwed my machine up & I had to completely re-install. Have you tried Avast! i've got it & it's working 100% on x86 build 7068.

Can't see there being too much difference between x86 & x64 as far as AV software goes

i have the same problem, i just ignore it, i may switch to the 2009 version instead of the Windows 7 version,

I am using KIS 2009. On all the previous builds I had no issues.

I am having same with KIS 2009 8.0.0.506 and KAV8 technical preview beta for Windows 7 but in both the same message as shown in the picture.

I think it is Windows 7 bugs and not the KIS problems or we can say that from this build there is compatibility problem with KIS.

Unfortunately, KIS 2009 is not compatible with Windows 7 (at least for me - got BSOD when I tried it). The technical preview version DID work, however this has expired. I now use Avast with Windows 7, and will switch to same with my Vista installations once the Kaspersky licence expires or when Vista SP2 comes out, whichever is the sooner.

Kaperski freezing comp 7057

Hi guys, I've been using the beta Kaperski antivirus problem free since jan. i migrated to build 7057 about a month ago, all was well until yesterday when a little pop up balloon kept telling me that the antivirus and firewall has turned off. The computer would then slow to a crawl, i would have to do a hard restart.

I tried reinstalling but to no avail, i've since installed McAfee and have had no probs so far, very odd.

Interestingly Windows 7 7057 registers everything as fine with Kaspersky, but even with the new 7077 I get the same warnings. I ignore these for now as it seems like Kaspersky is working fine!

Did anyone maybe find a solution to this? (Other than going to a different AV!)
