I hate Spybot, tooo many warnings. Go with Microsoft Security Essentials or AVG.
I`ve installed AVG on 100`s of machines and never had a problem.
Windows Live OneCare is no more

    Sorry,, AVG is garbage.

I have cleaned 100's of computers with AVG installed that AVG didn't even know was infected.
Plus,, with AVG,, you will get the "You are infected, but AVG can't clean it" message. Gotta love that.
    Stay away from AVG.

MSE and Malwarebytes is a solid setup.

People can love AVG all they want, but it's the first thing that goes when I get a hold of a system. Then scanned with real AV and AM apps (not just MSE and Malwarebytes, but several different On-Line Scanners as well). Then suggested taht MSE and Malwarebytes be the AV and AM of choice.

I personally have had trouble with AVG. False positives, a memory leak, and it couldn't clean my infected machine.

None, Get SuperAntiSpyware (S&D is crap)
Get Eset, Kaspersky or Zone Alarm other then MSE, if 2gig or less get MSE as it consumes low Ram
Get malwarebytes aswell (VERY effective programs)
If you end up with MSE, ESET or Kaspersky, make sure you DISABLE windows firewall and replace it with Zone Alarm Firewall, a more secure and strict firewall, one off the best aviable

MSE claims it is anti-spyware, at least.
    True.

    and is!
This is a lie, MSE found a very known Spyware, it attacked it and said my PC was clean, yet it just let it activate, Malwarebytes, had to come to my rescue and FOUND 10 SPYWARES / Trojans!!!

This is a subject that you will never get a straight answer on, because every one has their own opinions and preferences.
    the perennial chestnut.
Yep, the direct answer is NONE, those programs fails

Comodo aint the top, I find Zone Alarm more secure as it has saved me from more attacks, But is much better then Windows Firewall WHICH PHAILS

Dont lie, MSE is a fail program, It consumes low RAM but MSE really is a Anti Virus, no more, it is better then AVG free, but yet MSE does not keep out viruses as good as they claim, I recently had a virus and downloaded Eset to remove it
