hi !
welcome to the forum BinkerNate.
McAfee has something similar to Norton Safe Web, McAfee siteadvisor:
McAfee SiteAdvisor Software ? Website Safety Ratings and Secure Search
i have tried it, but only for a short period before i started using a2 (see below),
iīve seen other members here saying it sometimes gives "wrong info".
another option is a HOSTS-file, which also blocks unsafe websites, mvps.org has a regularly (monthly) updated HOSTS-file:
Blocking Unwanted Parasites with a Hosts File
iīm using a-squared (a2) antimalware which also blocks unsafe sites, AND the HOSTS-file above.
www.emsisoft.com/en/software/antimalware/
a2 is very good at detecting viruses & malware and it uses very little memory
(at least on my computer )
a-squared uses 620kB memory for realtime protection !
