I don't think that would be a good programthat doesn't scan all the programs each time. Even if it scanned it the first time it still could be infected the second time so why would you want that type of unprotection.

FYI I use Microsoft Security Essentials. FREE

Hello lordvader, Avast 5 does this if you enable Persistent cache.

The initial scan takes a very long time as it caches its results, after that it only scans new files & files that have been accessed since the last scan & the areas that would be done in a quick scan.

If you want to scan everything at a later date schedule a Boot time scan, this will scan all your drives and all your operating system before windows loads.

Kaspersky & Norton offer a similar technology as Avasts Presistent cache but of course they are not freeware

I think MalwareBytes works better than SuperAntiSpyware.

use superantispyware and since malwarebytes more focuses of the malware were superantispyware finds more addware and tacking cookies and stuff that compremises your privacy.

A SF suggestion
Would it be interesting if in the user cp (or somewhere on the forum), if there was a way to invite friends/family to sf forums by inputting their email address. I know a few people who are tech savvy who would do well here if they weren't already here. :)
