Default Open Ports On Fresh Install
Hello everyone. I just installed Windows 7 on my laptop yesterday. Today, I decided to look at the listening ports, and I noticed that there were a lot more than there were when I was using XP.
Since Windows has probably changed quite a bit, does anyone know what the default open listening ports should be (publicly available, that is. There are about 10 that are only available from the local machine, but some from any IP). For me, I see 135, 445, 2869, 5357, and 49152-49156 open and listening. I just want to make sure nothing strange has slipped in while installing a bunch of stuff and getting it set up.
