how to block certain websites

hi guys - how do i block websites, like roblox, and other game websites...seems kids spend a lot of time playing games on these sites...i would like to know how to block these sites so they cant play games etc?..ta

What you want is parental controls...

Parental Controls - Setup and Use

That way you can limit time...

Adding the sites you want to block to your hosts file.

thanks guys..used the hosts file..i edited the file with 127.0.0.1 followed by wensite i want to block....kids dont know whats happened...i said the sites have gone down..lol

Useful only if you know the website URL. I used this for my daughter's computer to block all the "unknown" out there.

I hope your kids don't know about admin rights. A friend of mine blocked his kids sites and his 8 year old got online and figured out how to get admin rights.
My friend hadn't set up passwords and accounts very well. They're set up pretty tight now.
