    You are correct again Dinesh, and indeed, Norton is winning. And again, it looks like Panda, Trend Micro & F-Secure are having tough time :-|

    Unless it's been improved of late, the first thing I remove from friends PCs if they are having resource issues is Norton. It used to be known as a heavy memory hogger. The only reason its winning IMO is because of the free trial on a lot of new machines. Wouldn't dream of purchasing it myself.

    I use Eset personally which I've always found fast, light and reliable.

    Where have you been the last two years? Norton is now one of the lightest av programs around. Much lighter than ESET.

    Norton 360 for me, currently using version 4



    as you can see, it is using very little resources albeit I'm using win 7 x86

    Hi, please click on Show Processes from All users in your task manager.
    There should be 2 processes named CcSvchst.exe.

    Although, the process that was using 3,528 K is now using 7,172 K.
