Yep the Norton 360 V4 is very light weight on resources and very effective on malware.
Avira Premium Security
AVG Internet Security
Avast Internet Security
BitDefender Internet Security
Kaspersky Internet Security
Panda Internet Security
Trend Micro Internet Security
Norton Internet Security
ESET Smart Security
F-Secure Internet Security
Interesting poll .. the majority of infected machines I see, use Norton/Symantec
I voted for Avira Premium Security Suite.
Again, without quoting anyone, Norton not only drastically improved memory optimisation, it also catches malware efficiently. And Norton Full 360 is also capable of tuning the pc. On the downside, its not at all available in native x64 avatar. Norton reps said me their native x64 products will be available by mid 2010. Lets wait and watch. In the meantime guys did you all hear about the energizer scam? It seems energizer had loaded the machines of its product users with a trojan, and it monitors port 7777 and allows remote control of the botnet. Avg was the first to make us know about it.
I'm quite happy with Microsoft Security Essentials and the built-in firewall.
I want more votes !
ESET has always saved the day. Norton may have cleaned up its act but lost all trust.
I have been installing ESET on my customers PCs for the last 6 years and will never go back to or recomend
Norton.
ESET is just that good.
I currently don't use a security suite because putting all your eggs in one basket IMO is not the smartest thing to do. Layered protection from different sources has served me well and has proven to be the better option for me.
With that being said, since I use Kaspersky AV right now and have used their security suite before, that is my choice in your poll.
