    SONAR and Artemis


    I known this since I started to take interest in the AV world. SONAR or Symantec Online Network for Advanced Response was acquired by Symantec in 2005 with the purchase of WholeSecurity. McAfee Artemis Technology on the other hand was developed by McAfee to add to their security line. My question is if these two technologies have similarities. I'm just curious...

    yup......unknown...unclassified threats are supposedly caught by using collective intelligence aka quorum(norton) or community threat intelligence(mcafee) faster without relying on signatures.Sonar 2 of norton is a kind of behaviour blocker....a bit too aggressive at times and mcafee+artemis catches more than macfee alone but honestly macfee is a resource hog

Hey, Basically i've recently became a musician, I have Cakewalks Sonar X3 Producer edition, Basically, My friends a qualified sound engineer, he's gave me some tips etc, He's also gave me 4 of his condensor mic's to use, Basically, i've got my semi acoustic ibanez, This will be purchased soon...
It kinda came out of no where and it was very unexpected both times it happened. Both applications use a lot of memory so that might be the issue? Any help would be appreciated.
Hi all. I own a Sonar power studio DAW. So far Cakewalk does not seem to have Windows 7 support. There is\was a hack to install the external USB card in the 7 beta 64 but it does not appear to work. Hi, I have replied on a previous post where the person also had the same issue. I have a Cybersnipa Sonar 5.1 Headset and after i installed the driver from their website I have no more sound. I have tested this on 2 other Win 7 PC's and had the same result and I have contacted their support...
