Which antivirus is best for win7

I use Avira,and Malwarebytes,all good so far.

I have installed and used AVG successfully.

Comodo's latest beta works well with Win 7 RC. Comodo gives me antimalware protection plus an excellent firewall.

Presently, I'm using Comodo and am quite satisfied.

When a person comes to me with what appears to be malware caused problems, then first I run MalwareBytes Antimalware on their computer.

After runs and reruns of MalwareBytes antimalware until I get a clean system, then I recommend either AVG free version, Comodo CIS, or Kaspersky CIS depending upon their expertise level and desires.

I confess to having never tried Avira which appears to be well-received.

I currently use Cyberdefender and it works great! You can try it by going to their website and downloading the free scanner. The full version includes 24/7 technical assistance. You can't beat that.

I like Avast...I liked Sunbelt Vipre before with Vista, but will not run with Win7...anybody got it to work so it will update?...Also, are default settings good for using Windows Firewall? I used Sunbelt firewall before, but again it is not ready for Win7 yet

I checked out this web page posted by t41 and noticed that Mcafee was right up there at the top of all the reviews. I really have enjoyed using the Mcafee beta for windows 7. It really works well and has a good set of features. I think its a worth a look for a internet security suite for windows 7.

best of all, free .... and legal too i might add. (I know what your thinking)

nod32 is also good. but trials suck, after 30 days they want your left arm.
