Good combo. In the U.S, McAffee and Norton are the two top choices.
do you find you get many false positives?

I have 3 right now, Avast! Pro, Microsoft Morro and AVG free.

I have had 5 different once at the same time (a couple of months ago, was trying to install as much protection software as i could ). Avast, Avg, Eset Nod32, Norton Anti-virus, BitDefender

I use McAffee (comes free with my Cox Internet). And so far so good with the 7100 64bit Win7. It does some to be a bit of a resource hog at startup tho.

Why would some be better only in certain countries?

I'm using Microsoft Security Essentials (Morro).

Its nice so far, very light-weight. Quick-Scan is roughly ten minutes.

Microsoft Morro is outstanding. And to think, it's in its Pre-Beta stage!

The scan is fast, yes, but we have to see how deep and efficent the scan is.

I'll be waiting av-comparatives test before i could say it's good.

    .
I've read that the public beta of Microsoft Security Essentials will be available on June 23rd. There is already a review up on winsupersite.com which is very positive - we should more see reviews soon after.
