in my opinion, there is no doubt eset smart secuirity is the best one, i have been using for it and it works fine
That is certainly your opinion, yes. I also used Eset Smart Security and I very much liked the fact that I was able to go about my business without ever having to even mind it at all. The only thing that did upset me was that I did once have an infection in my computer, quite annoying, but I ended up sorting things out after a while. I wish I had recorded the name of the virus and looked into how Eset didn't catch it but I wasn't as experienced then.

If only the requirements were just that antivirus nukes all comers... however it also has to be light and fast. Include that and many behemoths fail, including Norton in my experience.

After all what's the point of an ultra secure laptop that you can't use because it's constantly being thrashed by anti virus?

Besides most rankings that I've seen place bitdefender at the top and Norton way down in like 5th or 6th. Mind you they don't tend to list freebie anti virus.
I'm running Norton Internet Security 2010 on my HP laptop, which is for "entertainment" use and it is as if it is not even here.

I'm using Symantec End Point Protection (11.0.4202.75).

No issues with it, doesn't bug me about anything, and it's not that much of a resource hog.

    No mate:)
I was asking because Panda promises that it'll trash all the traditional anti virus in the market.

Isn't it nice how their products are getting exceedingly better in performance?

    Promises are just that Promises.
Chrysler promises the best MPG in US History. yep 21 to 25 MPG, maybe I should trade my Ford that gets 38 MPG in ... for Dodge Promises.
