| | Avast Internet Security 5 - logon initialization process failure (fix) I installed Avast Internet Security 5 on an Acer 8930 and after reboot, I got a "logon initialization process failure". To start your computer, you need to do a hard boot (complete turn off). The major issue with this problem is the biometric software. If you have a biometric security on your computer, you have to uninstall it. So before you install Avast IS5, first uninstall the biometric software. You will find the Avast IS5 will work perfectly. |
