If you are having problem booting into your laptop try use this its quite good and it has previously helped me. Quote: The Avira AntiVir Rescue System a linux-based application that allows accessing computers that cannot be booted anymore. Thus it is possible to repair a damaged system, to rescue data or to scan the system for virus infections. Just double-click on the rescue system package to burn it to a CD/DVD. You can then use this CD/DVD to boot your computer. The Avira AntiVir Rescue System is updated several times a day so that the most recent security updates are always available. MBAM usually takes over an hour.
SAS about the same time.
Then do this..... System Files - SFC Command - Vista Forums
Post back and let us know how things are going..
THW Yes I usually run ful scans atm I am running full scans using SAS,MBAM,and Microssoft safety scaner in safe mode. When it is done I will try ur recommendation thanks for your help. Also it looks like its a problem with my registry cuz I remember I used ccleaner to fix registry errors and then that's when the spam started showing up. If you used CCleaner registry tool without backing up, as it gives you that option,
you may want to try a system restore back to when thing were running smoothly.
Never run any registry cleaner unless you know exactly what you are doing.
THW Yes I learned my lesson and ur right I did not back it up and I will try restoring after the full scans are done in safe mode.

GDATA rocks! I've been using it for 3 years now, it has the highest detection rate, though it 'uses much resources' , but who cares?
Please add GData to the list, it should be at the first place. lol
