    Latest NSS Labs Testing

I just finished reading the latest results of NSS Labs Consumer Endpoint Protection and was quite shocked by their results. It goes to show that one should never rely solely on one set of results when looking at ant-malware products. Here's a snip of their 17 day recurring test.

I think that data might be deceptive. I noticed that Trend Micro was at the top of the list, but if I understood it right, it was analyzing the speed of blocking. In another analysis that I read recently, by AV-Comparatives, Trend Micro was at the bottom of their scoring, because of the number of false positives that it produced. Obviously, if accuracy isn't considered, speed is irrelevant.

It's not the speed of blocking that's shown here (although I do have that as well) This is the result of 17 days of testing effectiveness against malware. I use NOD32 which placed last in their testing! I only posted this to emphasise my point that one should not simply look at one lot of test results when looking for a product to protect them on-line.

What exactly is the Time to Add Blocked Sites and what is the time frame? Hours? Minutes?
What Trend Micro product was used?
