remove 'run as admin'

how do i remove the run as administrator shield/icon on a program even though the 'run this program as administrator' button isn't selected?

Hello Aquaphire,

The UAC shield overlay on a icon indicates that program will require you to give it UAC approval before it is allowed to open/run as elevated (run as administrator). Some programs require this as they were programed no matter if the 'run this program as administrator' option is selected in Compatibility Mode or not.
