I wonder why you want to turn off your A/V? Just curious!

Hello there! Why in the world would you turn off your AV? Well here it is.

    1. Go to the Navigation Center in your McAfee product.

    2. Scroll down and you will find the Real-Time Scanning Feature and click it.

    3. Once there just click Turn Off. After you're done with what you're doing just do the process again to turn it back on.

I sometimes turn mine off when I am installing (after I have downloaded).

Why? Has an install ever gone bad for you because of your av?

Yes; but not in Win 7. Some software installations recommend disabling the AV prior to installation.

    Hi All
Yeah, it gives me problems when I'm burning stuff, anyway, tries exiting the icon, but does not give me that option, also, I have no navigation centre option, I try accessing the settings, but, it won't allow me to!! Any other suggestions!! Thanks
