    Test your Anti Virus

This is a fun little test of your AV software.

Copy and paste the following into Notepad

    X5O!P%@AP[4\PZX54(P^)7CC)7}$EICAR-STANDARD-ANTIVIRUS-TEST-FILE!$H+H*

Save the file and your Anti Virus is doing it's job, you'll see the result.

       Information
This is completely harmless. If your anti virus doesn't detect and remove or quarantine the file, you can simply delete it without any repercussions what-so-ever. You should also definately get a new anti virus program

He shouldn't have to. As soon as he clicks "Save" it should be detected
