Yes I get fully stealthed there, been a few times, and your link just goes to the page saying it can't reload so that was obviously your results and for safety it will not allow the page to reload or refresh.

use a good firewall.
but, passing Gibsonīs test is not the only important thing, you need a firewall that also blocks OUTGOING connections.
why ?
because in case your computer gets infected with spyware, that stops the spyware from "calling home" after it has stolen your private information like fx. passwords.

even Windows Firewall will stealth all ports, if your firewall isn't, then i would recommend getting another one. unless you have a program open that is listening on that port (such as a torrent client) any firewall should stealth the ports.

that seems to be adequete... as long as you have set up Windows Firewall's outbound control, if you need a little more control over outbound programs then i recommend Windows 7 Firewall control, it comes in both 32 and 64 bit flavours, and the free version does the job just as well as the paid version, the only PITA is you will need to set programs that need Outbound access to "Enable All" the first time you use them. oh and the warning noise is VERY annoying, you have been warned

I wouldnt bother with Verizon's Firewall, my ISP has a similar service, but i don't use it, they block every single outbound and incoming request unless its on a "known common port" so basically, your restricted to web browsing and email
of course the best inbound firewall is a decent NAT Firewalled Router
did shields up show any ports open on your system?
