Open Task manager and close all suspicious processes! Then try to run AV. Try Kaspersky or Norton! If you cant then do clean install of Windows 7

Combofix does not work with Windows 7. This is a powerful tool and shouldn't be used without know what it does.

you should be in "safe mode" to run malwarebytes, so whatever is causing you the grief is not loaded.

Thanks for the help guys, but I ended up giving up and reinstalling Windows. I've got it back the way I had it before I got the virus and everything is running smoothly.

Thanks for all of the help!

And if you had UAC turned off before, then don't this time.

And a little app called Spywareblaster is also something you can install and it will block quite a bit of different types of malware. It doesn't run, you just install it, update, and enable all protection. It adds a little more protection. You can also take a snapshot of your browser in a clean state with it, so if you get another browser hijacker, you can revert it back to a clean state quickly, so you can possibly get to any other sites you may need to get to, if it happens again.
