Not sure about you, but I use Comodo mainly to block outgoing network connections in the case that I don't want a program to access the internet and for warning in terms of viruses/etc. If you want a more effective incoming firewall you'll need a hardware solution such as a router.

EDIT: However, Comodo should have your ports configured as stealth anyway. Check your settings, make sure you're using Safe Mode and input your custom rules if you have any.

GRC Port Authority Report created on UTC: 2010-04-24 at 06:33:36

Results from scan of ports: 0-1055

    1 Ports Open
    0 Ports Closed
    1055 Ports Stealth
    ---------------------
    1056 Ports Tested

NO PORTS were found to be CLOSED.

The port found to be OPEN was: 80

Other than what is listed above, all ports are STEALTH.

TruStealth: FAILED - NOT all tested ports were STEALTH,
    - NO unsolicited packets were received,
    - NO Ping reply (ICMP Echo) was received.
You can always use Comodo's stealth wizard to configure your computer:

Oh i see, so the guys who are gettin "passed" results are using a router?, but im using one,

My ISP provides me with a modem-router 2wire 2701HG-T and the firewall is on full "all protected" setting.
Im testing eset smart security and comodo and still getting failed results....i don't know what to do.

update: yep safe mode is selected however im still having the same results...

Use the stealth ports wizard within Comodo.

still getting the same results after selecting block everything (third option).....strange.

BTW an hour ago i finished reinstalling windows 7... the system is clean.

Whether i use avast internet security or eset smart security or comodo im getting the same results... failed.

update: well i finally found the problem, if i reset my router the firewall stealth option is not enabled by default, i don't know why. If i enabled that option MANUALLY i finally get "passed". should i leave it that way, i think the answer is yes.
