ICMP Flooded? :S

Hey,

My new antivirus has just gave me a popup saying "Wireless Internet Connection is ICMP Flooded." whats this? i quickly looked it up, like a Denial of Service attack almost? O_O can someone help me?

We need a ton more info. What AV, what network setup, what hardware, etc

1) Go to Avira's configuration, tick Expert Mode, Firewall, Adapter Rules, ICMP Protocol, at the "Assume flooding if delay between packets is less than" change the setting from 50 to 5.

2) Do a full malware scan with avira as well as malwarebytes antimalware.

I also have this problem...following instruction but after going to firewall cannot see adapter rules and ICMP protocol to change settings?

How Do I Stop My System From Answering ICMP Ping Requests ??
I've already made a rule for inbound requests, but it doesn't seem to be working. Ran a security check at grc.com and the reply to a ICMP ping was the only problem. Everything else was "stealth."
