    Bank Of America Phishing E-Mail

I received an E-Mail alert that my BOA account was locked and to click on a link to update my account. I forwarded it to BOA Abuse. The links do not take you to BOA, so be careful out there.

The funniest phishing scams are when you get one like that from a bank you have never even been to. I treat any email that wants data like phishing. If it is really important the company will call me or send me a registered letter. Any legit company I deal with has my home number and address.

Banks will NEVER ask for personal information via an email; nor will they send you an email regarding accessing your account.
