    Which is the Best Antivirus Software?


    Hello guys ! Come and express your views regarding the best Antivirus available in the World.

    Apparently, none of them are best because so far every single one has caused sharing or connection problems. Or maybe I've been working in the network department for too long LOL.

    Only the Windows live essestials seems to work without causing other problems. http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/

    Agree, there is really no best. Majority of it is preference.


    My personal choices would be:
    Paid: Norton
    Free: MSE

    You will find a quite varied opinion on the matter however.

    +1, those are my choices too. Although lately I have some doubts about MSE which let a couple of buggers pass. Have a look at the chart - for whatever it is worth. The test was done with over 1 million pieces of malware. http://www.av-comparatives.org/

    And even MSE has had to be disabled to some programs up and running, not a network, though, as far as I know. I use none of the above.
