Cant open files from old win7 user.

I had to format hdd and install new Win7 os, so i copy old files, Documents folder, to other hdd and when i installed new win7 i just copy old documents back but on other partition.
    1HDD - C:\win7
    D:\documents
and now when i try to open any file , jpg, doc, txt, pdf..... it wants from me :

right click on file, Properties, Security, Continue and change Current owner: Unable to display current owner to New user name and check box under, replace owner on subcontainers and objects. after i can open image or text but its work only for one file per action. I have about 60gb of data, can i remove owner from all at once ?

and when i 2x click on any via or admin to make them owner and close it, after i have this

so need to remove old user and add one. only after i can open jpg

The old files have the owner set to the old user which has a different ID than your new user account (In the future you can avoid this if possible by transferring the old user account to the new machine. This can be done for the same machine between an update too).

But for now, follow this tutorial to make a "Take Ownership" context menu that you can use to quickly re-take ownership of those file from your old account. This should work for entire directories I believe (Though been a while since I used it)

Oh I should say "be careful" you do NOT want to use this on your windows folder or the entire C drive. Use it /only/ on your own files on other disks or that you have moved to your new users folder

anyway, folders can open now but images still have open one by one, properties, security, add current owner , apply and only after can open them and only on added account, friends cant see it.

is there posibility to delete all owners so they can be opened on all accounts on all pc ....
i think it should be setted users name: like System so all users and on other pc people can open image

I was pretty sure that the Take Ownership command would take ownership of a folder and all it's contents...

Does using it on a single file not work? (Since you mentioned still doing the files by hand)
