Norton Removal Tools

Does Norton know about that? I haven't seen anything in their BETA forum.
No they must not be aware of it. I have contacted them about this issue. No reply yet.
They know about it. Their own application to remove their software thoroughly is called Norton Removal Tool: Download and run the Norton Removal Tool to uninstall Norton Security Suite or Norton Business Suite

The Norton removal tool will not uninstall 2011 BETA, use Add/Remove programs.

The new build 18.1.0.22 appears to be very bug free, the shutdown bug I was experiencing has been fixed, a few non-critical bugs concerning Identity Safe have been reported so far.

    Getting close to release quality.

Does anyone know if Symantec will release the 90 day trial of Norton Internet Security 2011 when it's become final?

I really liked the 90 days of the previous two versions.

Does this one use your current Norton product key, or does it give you a new one?

You will get a 120 day key sent to your email with the 2011 beta. You can't use your current key for the beta.

A new NIS 2011 build has been posted yesterday on the public beta download page, 18.1.0.33!

Taking Symantec release cycle into account, this could be the last full download build update, as the product will be released by September or October. No bugs encountered so far!
