    Avast 5 won't clean a virus ?

On some test pc's at work avast 5.0 finds a virus in the recyclers folder called sysdata.exe, it can't move it to the vault because it's in use, and if i select delete it then prompts a reboot required, but it does'nt get rid of it even after a reboot.

I then tried malwarebytes but with no success.

The only way of removing it was using nod32 v4.

I have attached some pics of the virus.

I wonder why avast can't deal with this virus ?

Have you tried running the boot scan with Avast?

    Seems to an autorun worm?

You may need to vaccinate any usb's that are plugged in.

No i have'nt tried boot scan as i did'nt even realise it could do that, i will look into one.

Thanks for that, damm annoying it was to get of, if i get it on another pc i will try boot scan, cheers.

Funnily enough avast was fine dealing with virus when it ended up on some pen drives straight away, although it was then called a different name, some worm virus, forgot the name now, but it cleaned it anyway.

Thanks again to both of you anyway
