    Facebook Privacy Scanner

I heard about the Facebook Privacy Scanner from Merijn Bellekom (the creator of HijackThis and other applications). He tested it and found that it does not work in Opera but works great in Firefox.

    ReclaimPrivacy.org | Facebook Privacy Scanner
This website provides an independent and open tool for scanning your Facebook privacy settings. The source code and its development will always remain open and transparent.

    1. Drag this link to your web browser bookmarks bar: Scan for Privacy
    2. Log in to facebook.com and then click that bookmark
    3. You will see a series of privacy scans that inspect your privacy settings and warn you about settings that might be unexpectedly public.
My results are shown in the attached image.

I like the idea; but I cannot get it work. Maybe because I don't have a bookmarks toolbar. Even with the bookmarks toolbat, I get an error message.

Edited to add: I finally got it to work. It was my security settings in FF. I have nailed down my Facebook account. Thank you, Corrine. I could not rep you; I have to spread some around.

Thanks. It never completed one of the scans for me. Everything else is green.
