    my question above was: are you using both firewall & defence+ ?
    what settings are you using ?
    which "Security level" ?
    I installed comodo which includes a Defense+ tab in the interface. The Defense + security level is "Safe Mode". Do I need to jack it up to the paranoid level?

    Avast firewall scored 200/330. I guess its just a matter of publicity that comodo scores full marks.

    After detecting and removing Downloader in c:\users\...\downloads\clt\plugins\coat.dll Norton scores 150/330.

    The firewall is also set at "Safe Mode".

    My Eset Smart Security 4 doesn't do so hot....
    Edit: I turned my firewall to interactive mode, before it was on automatic mode with exceptions and now I get 200...

    If you really want to do a real test, go to GRC and run it against your firewall... To me this test is garbage...

    Matousec is not a firewall test.

    Edit: But in the past, at least, they wanted you to believe so.
