    Bitlocker for Win 7 Pro?

Is there any software like Bitlocker that I can get for Win 7 Pro? Can you download bitlocker??? I can't find it anywhere.

I have a Macbook with bootcamp installed for Snow Leopard and Win 7 and looked at Truecrypt, but I don't feel like going that route due to Truecrypt needing to be the first file on the MBR instead of bootcamp, and that just seems to be too much of a hassle.

I just want to encrypt my Win 7 partition.

    Any suggestions?

I would still recommend that you use truecrypt. Although it may cause you quite a bit of hassle, it should be worth it because your documents are safe.

Thanks. I might consider Truecrypt... I'm just not sure how it's going to affect my Macbook's bootcamp partitioning.

Hmm, perhaps it would be a good idea to make a system image. And then try encrypting the partition, and if all fails then you can restore to that image?

Yeah, I'll think about doing that. It's just something I wanted to do, not necessarily needed to do. :)

Oh, thats the exact reason that I have truecrypt :) well that and the technology that comes with it (mounting virtual HDDs and pipelining etc.).

Sorry I couldn't help you with the bootcamp problem though

No biggie. I still haven't heard from anyone about installing it AFTER I've installed Windows. I'm hesitant about doing all that for fear of completely fubaring my laptop. LMAO
