    Indeed, i do like WOT better..used that with NIS2010 Norton Safe marked some bad sites still green while WOT marked them Red.

    I generally don't like the WOT community (anyone here excluded) so I prefer Norton.

    Nowadays, I actually only have it installed for my parents, mainly to enhance the anti-phishing offered by Firefox.

    Leaving aside the question about what communities we do or don't like the problem with these toolbars is precisely that they give different results. Whether or not a site is safe is not a matter of opinion. Sites have to be assessed in real time because legitimate sites are sometimes targeted by malware purveyors and can host drive by downloads. AFAICT site ratings based on "reputation" (user feedback) will always be unreliable because they quickly become outdated.
