WLOC is being phased out in favor of something being based upon their new enterprise type tool.

In the meantime, There is an entire thread on AV / AM software for Win 7 - read through it.

Which antivirus is best for win7

Thanks for a rather quick response. This free antivirus MS is working on sound interesting. I don't have any income at the moment and free is good at the moment.

It is supposed to be better than their previous offerings...but we'll see.

I am a perpetual Beta tester for Onecare, and I get the newer builds before they are released to subscribers, and free annual renewable subscriptions.

OneCare is a poor AV product. It only recieves standard certification in recent AV-Comparatives testing. I removed it awhile back as it consistantly missed malware that NOD32 online scanner would catch and clean.

    [edit]

recent Heuristic detection is definitely improving. 3-star certification (advanced+) [May 2009], looks like Microsoft is getting its act together.
