    Windows firewall + other firewall?

Is it bad to have 2 firewalls up like this? I have windows and comodo. I heard you shouldnt have 2, and that windows firewall sucks, but that was before windows 7. What now?

Windows Firewall is excellent to control both outbound and inbound connections.

If you don't have any problems, running both should not create any issues.

Common advice though, is to run only one software firewall at a time.

Because they could be configured improperly to conflict with each other, giving end user headaches. If configured properly, shouldn't be an issue.

If you have your firewall configured properly, there is no need for a 2nd firewall.. its just wasting resources..

WF is excellent, yeah. The only reason I explained how having both should not cause issues is because users always complain when I tell them to run only one. I didn't feel like long drawn out explanation so I skip all that now and tell them 2 are fine. And their resources are used instead of my brain and reasoning skills.

    lol
