    Custom theme changes on start-up

Alright, the problem I'm having is that when I start up my computer after saving a custom theme and selecting it, a new unsaved theme with different settings and background is displayed after restarting the computer. This has been happening since I've bought the machine and I really don't think this is a problem that I caused. Maybe it is a program that was pre-installed on the computer? I have no idea so maybe if somebody has encountered this type of problem they could try to help me out. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    I'm running:
    -Intel Core i7 720QM
    -Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
    -8GB DDR3

    Thanks,

    -Terry

Welcome to Seven Forums Tam88. Can you see this theme when you look in your themes list?

    Right click desktop> personalize

If there is an unnamed theme listed. Name it something, and switch to another theme. Now try the newly named theme and see if that is the theme you are seeing when you have this problem. If so switch to a theme you want, and right click and delete the newly named theme. A Guy

That just about worked... when I restarted the theme that I wanted to use appeared for a few seconds and then it switched right back to the annoying "unsaved theme." So close, normally it doesn't do that.

Thanks for your help A Guy.

Okay, I found a solution from another forum, and it turns out the problem was with one of the pre-installed bloatware programs on my Asus laptop - Power4Gear. If anyone with an Asus computer has the same problem just uninstall Power4Gear.
