    RSS Feeds - Themes

    Guys,

    I have been doing some reading about setting up RSS Feeds for themes on Windows 7. There are even a handfull available to download/install and they work really well - these are done via Flickr.

    Now - I have been trying to do some myself - just by searching for sets of photos posted by users on Flickr and trying to install them myself. Now this works to a certain extent, but I always end up with the wrong resolution of images - they are really small resolutions, so end up pixellated on my monitor.

    I am just wondering if anyone has anyone has any experience in setting these up and if so, how would I go about getting the correct resolution of images.

    Some stuff regarding the above;

    RSS-powered Windows 7 desktop slideshows - istartedsomething

    TIA!

    Hi,

    You could try the tutorial here - Theme Pack - Create, Save, Install, and Delete

    And if you want to even enable the regional themes, try here - https://www.sevenforums.com/customiza...html#post97446

    Hope this helps :)

    P.S sorry for the late reply

    Orbital,

    Thanks for the reply on that. I did have a read of that thread; I was trying to be a little more specific - as in themes with RSS feeds.

    Thanks again for your help though :)

    Ah, there is only 2 native regional themes that have RSS feeds. I'll write up a post on how to enable them for you, watch this space

    P.S. you'll be able to use it for other themes too
