Need help with installing themes

I have never messed with Windows 7 themes before today, but I just found a theme that I really like so I watched a tutorial and installed it. This is the theme:

TerraNova::Beta:: by ~caeszer on deviantART

After installation, the background and fonts changed, but nothing happened to the taskbar or start menu. I made sure to use the provided explorer.exe. The taskbar just looks like the non-aero Windows 7 one, but with a different font.

Did I miss a step or something, because my desktop looks nothing like the one in the artist's screenshot.

Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

EDIT: I restarted my computer and now the start button and windows look right, but the taskbar hasn't changed at all...

Welcome to Seven Forums kultrva. Did you patch your system first to accept unsigned themes? You must patch 3 dll's before using any non Microsoft theme. Have a look here:

Theme - How to Apply Custom Themes

If you haven't patched, and have issues after patching. You can remove the theme and apply it again. If necessary, we xcn help you return your Windows to the original state so you can patch and start again. A Guy

I made sure to patch the 3 .dll files.
