    Applying Themes

I am just wondering what others use for applying Third Party themes, as i have only used UxStyle as it doesn't require patching system files

Enabling Custom Themes - Windows 7

Basically i am curious as to what method has been adopted by our members as the best option

Thanks for your input A Guy, i was looking at Universal Theme Patcher earlier today that is what prompted me to start the thread to explore other options.

Also sound advice on making a second back up of your original system files on another drive

I use UxStyle on my laptop & my desktop & used it on my son's & grandson's laptops I think it's a great program that works &
if you run the scf/ scan it's still there no more patching

I'm using Uxstyle too. Was using universal theme patcher, but after sfc themes wont work, then you need to take ownership of, I forgot, was it the whole windows folder (fix told by Mr.Grim aka Mark back then) or just particular files...Too messy:) UxStyle simplifies things, and if you add to that Windows 7 Start Button Changer: Change Your Windows 7 Start Button With One Click | door2windows nice, simple, easy. Now, there is and this: XPtsp Support Board - View topic - [Tutorial] How to patch your system with 7tsp I haven't tried it yet. This program patches system files too, but its kind of "all in one" for patcing, start orb and everything else. And can restore patched files too.
    cheers
EDIT: I didn't realize that this was my 900 post. Good for me I suppose Later

I use 7tsp it limits you as you can only use a 7tsp theme pack but it does absolutely everything and hassle free. i only use mr grims themes anyhow so its not an issue for me.
