    Custom themes stopped working

    Hi,

    All my custom themes just stopped working!

    I had a problem with very slow loading of video thumbnails, so I found this solution:
    * open windows start menu
    * type cmd and wait for cmd.exe to appear listed under the title Programs:
    * right click on cmd.exe and choose "Run as administrator"
    * a command prompt opens, then type the following: SFC.EXE /SCANNOW
    * hit enter and wait for Windows to check and repair its system files

    It worked fine, but then I restarted the computer which the command-process told me, and when I got back to Windows the superbar was all grey (like old-style windows - no aero-functionality or anything). I found out that it is the same on ALL my themes - none of them work.

    I tried to run the UX Theme Patcher once again but it didn't help.

    Anyone who can tell me whats going on?? I would really appreciate it!

    sfc /scannow will change the system files back to default ,so any themes you have installed using universal theme patcher etc will be gone as the patched files will be reset to default. just re do them
    edit ,i see you have but no joy. hopefully bongo has shed some light on your prob, good luck!

    boohbah is correct, you should simply have to patch your system again and your themes will work. Did the theme patcher report the 3 files successfully patched? A Guy
