Aero Theme visually similar to Classic Theme

    Hello,

I am currently using the Classic theme and I know this disables the Aero extensions and I know that if I want those extensions, I must use an Aero theme.
However, I like the classic theme because it uses less screen space for many items when compared to the default aero theme (well, at least I think so).
I know many don't like the quite "dated" look of the classic theme, but I happen to like it a lot as I've been used to it for a long time now and so feel "at home" when using it.
Now that I have Windows Seven installed, I'm willing to play a bit with the Aero effects but without loosing what are, to my eyes, the advantages of the Classic Theme.
So, I'm wondering if there was a theme somewhere that would be an Aero theme but still gives a very similar look to what the Classic theme gives.

Does anyone know of such a theme?

    Regards
    Olivier

I do not know if it will work for you but go to
Control Panel \Personalization \ Window Color & untick Enable Transparency

Sorry if this is illegal necroposting but I thought I would share the fruits of my efforts to make Windows 7 desktop look and behave like my old and sadly missed classic-themed XP. I have tried to include every step in a sensible order. I think the URLs seem safe and legit and I thoroughly virus-scanned all the downloads before I ran them on my system. All seems OK but don't blame me...!

    --------------------------------

    Task bar, right-click, Properties:
    - Lock the taskbar: on
    - Use small icons: on

    ------------------------------------

    Desktop, right-click, Personalise
    - Choose Windows 7 aero theme
    - Exit

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Run UxStyle_Core_Jul13_x64.msi (installs a service "Unsigned Themes")

There is a way set font BOLD of the current application on the taskbar?
With Classic AE 2.5.3 Final by Saarineames on DeviantArt the active button on the taskbar is similar to the other...
    Thanks!
