How to RESTORE DISPLAY SETTINGS on WIN 7 STARTER

I recently bought a HP Mini Netbook 110-3015DX OS Windows 7 starter. I was playing around with the color schemes and I changed my display settings, ie- the color of window boxes, inactive windows, the entire screen while on IE is tinted with these colors!! Now I can't get it back to the default settings? All I want to do is to restore the default windows (blue) so the appearance of my computer is like the original!!!!!! I have made a new user profile, i got a new user account, but it just reverted back to these messed up colors! I have gone in and "calibrated' and it works, but will then revert right back to the "OFF COLORS", the ones I accidently did when I was 'playing around' with my new pc I cant' even change themes to make it revert??

Can anyone please tell me how I can change my color settings back to the default without having to completely wipe my PC and start from complete scratch? I have already personlized my links and favorites sites, etc?

I can't confirm this will work, but it does usually restore other graphical changes. Run the System File Checker. This will not wipe out any of your personalized links and such.

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
