    Saving themes before reinstalling?

    Hi again, Savvy Sevenoids.

I'm soon to go from Ultimate to Home Premium (both x64). Don't ask why; it isn't pretty. Unless I attempt to switch the key and try the registry tweak and so on which I saw a link to on this site (which isn't that likely to work), is there any way to possibly save my current theme(s)? It's just that I worked SO long on getting my aero colors, desktop icon spacing, icon fonts, etc. precisely how I wanted them. I'd also really like to save all my Firefox add-on settings. (I do have FF backed up via MozBackup.)

Will my backups help me at all? What if I was to clone this drive before I wipe it? (Yes, I do mean sector-by-sector clone, not backup or image.) Would there be a folder/file(s) with my themes which I could cut/paste or drag/drop back to my newly-formatted drive?

    Thanks a ton!

Using MozBackup you will be OK it will put Firefox back to the way you had it.
For your themes follow this tutorial Theme Pack - Create, Save, Install, and Delete if you have some custom themes you will need to go to C/Windows/Resources/Themes and copy them from their. If you need more help with either of these just ask I have done both many times.
You can copy your drive sector by sector and you should have everything there.

Thanks SO much, both of you! I right-clicked on my current (custom) theme and saved it as a themepack. I'll copy it to another drive. I'll follow the directions to the best of my ability on the tutorial in the link for reinstalling my theme after reinstalling Windows. Thanks for telling me to come back if I have any problems!
