Theme Fonts

I have a theme i really like but i don't like the fonts that come with the theme.
My question is if i choose not to install the fonts that come with the theme i assume this will have no adverse effect and will just use the default windows fonts.

This is one of those questions one never asks for fear of looking stupid

ControlPanel\Fonts and notepad\fonts hanging
I see other threads regarding the symptom of hanging while going into Control Panel -> Fonts, however they seem unresolved. I noticed this problem after troubleshooting Notepad hanging while going to fonts. I am running Windows Home Premium x64 on a C2D MacBook Pro (via BootCamp). My...
